What can I Expect at the First Session?

The first session is 50-80 minutes in length. We will discuss the concerns that bring you to therapy as well as what your hopes and goals are for treatment.  This consultation is a time for us to get to know each other so it is a good time to ask any questions you may have about therapy.

How often should I come? How long are sessions?

Research has shown that regular attendance at your sessions is important for the best treatment outcomes. Sessions are scheduled weekly and sometimes are increased to twice a week.

Sessions for individuals are 50 minutes in length, sessions for couples and families are 80 minutes in length.
